About Us Accreditations
Wondering what those important-looking badges and logos at the bottom of the site actually mean? We’ll explain for you…
Probably our most important accreditation, the Gas Safe Register is the official gas registration body for the United Kingdom.
Because gas and gas-related fittings in the wrong hands can be dangerous and even fatal, by law all gas engineers must be qualified and registered with Gas Safe.
XP and our gas engineers are of course registered - our registration number is 539196, if you want to check for yourself.
We’re registered as approved contractors with NIC EIC, the UK’s leading regulatory body for the electrical contracting industry. Registration requirements include passing an assessment to ensure works are carried out in compliance with relevant UK regulations.
Constructionline is a government-run scheme that assesses the health and safety management and compliance of participating companies and contractors. As a responsible company, we take the safety considerations of our staff and our customers extremely seriously.
At XP, we believe that developing and maintaining professional skills are really important in our industry, and we only use fully-qualified people. That’s why our engineers and office staff boast a range of qualifications from City and Guilds, a global leader in vocational and workplace qualifications and training.
The Water Regulations Advisory Scheme is a body that promotes and supports compliance with UK law related to the water supply. XP is registered with WRAS’ approval scheme for companies and organisations that demonstrate compliance with the Water Fittings Regulations.
